What does the inside of a tornado look like? Reed Timmer asked it once, on September 24, and then answered it on September 28 with "Welcome to the inside of a #tornado." The answer is the one people are watching. Barely a day and a half old, it is gathering views faster than anything else on the channel, well ahead of the question that came before it.

The week's biggest total belongs to the third upload, "What happened to BOOMER SOONER?!", which has passed 100,000 views. The title leans on the University of Oklahoma's fight song, a fitting phrase for a storm chaser whose name is tied to Oklahoma and its tornado country, though the title alone does not say what the video covers.

The late-September calm shows in the channel overall, which drew noticeably fewer views than usual, and the subscriber count held still. It is a lull shared by most of the science and experiments channels around him, Deep Look and Chris Boden among them. Scott Manley was the exception, running a little above his normal pace. For a chaser, the in-between season is when the footage from inside the funnel gets its second life.
