PovGirl8995's family-vacation sketch hits a swimwear snag

A silent parade of bikini bottoms turns a boyfriend's family invitation into a wardrobe problem.

looks like I need to go shopping 😅😅😅😅 #girls #vacation #family #boyfriend

The invitation sounds lovely. The swimwear selection is where things get awkward: a woman stands beside a bed, holding up bikini bottoms and reconsidering each one for a vacation with her boyfriend's family.

That's the setup of PovGirl8995's comedy Short, captioned "when your boyfriends family invites you on vacation..." There is no spoken dialogue. Instead, a polite smile gives way to questioning looks as patterned, turquoise and floral options pass through her hands. The increasingly minimal choices do the rest of the storytelling.

The upload drew an estimated 159,000 views in its first day, nearly seven times the channel's usual Short start. It's another everyday clothing predicament on a channel whose established hits include discovering that part of an outfit is in the dirty laundry.

Viewers have picked up the practical question the sketch leaves hanging: is she holding the bottoms frontward or backward? Others imagine arriving on a family trip with that suitcase. The upload's caption offers its own solution: "looks like I need to go shopping."
