Calumny, a Daily Wire chapter and Gabriel Castillo: Matt Fradd's week on sins of the tongue
His conversation about rash judgment online drew more than 100,000 views on its first day, in a week of fifteen uploads that turned largely to the Rosary.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
How I Dealt With the Daily Wire Slander
Six days old and still the busiest thing on the channel, "How I Dealt With the Daily Wire Slander" is less a score-settling video than a sermon on restraint. Matt Fradd sits down with Gabriel Castillo to argue that calumny and rash judgment online are worse than most people think, and the title points back to the stretch of his career spent working with the Daily Wire.
The comment section reads like a long examination of conscience. One of the most liked replies is simply a viewer deciding to go to confession, and several others apologize to Fradd directly for things they once assumed about him. A good share of the thread turns to Michael Voris, the former head of Church Militant, with viewers saying they pray for him. And one person who admits clicking only for the drama says the video ended up being for them.
Castillo was the guest for nearly everything else in a fifteen-upload week, much of it built around Mary and the Rosary as October, the month the Church dedicates to the Rosary, began: an episode of Last Call answering viewers' top three objections, a look at what Mary experienced at the crucifixion, and "Why Do Most Catholics Pray the Rosary Wrong?", which takes a Protestant objection seriously. The quickest of the newer uploads is a two-day-old history of the Rosary, with a one-day-old short titled "Malcolm Guite Is The Best" not far behind it, a nod to the English poet and priest.
The channel ran slower than its usual pace and added about 3,000 subscribers. Even so, among the faith channels of a similar size only Paul Bernard II gained more views over the week.

@ohcommawowSee it on YouTubeA tactic I use to keep my calumny online in check is to pretend that Jesus is my proof reader and I can't post anything unless he approves it :)
