What does Hoover choose not to play? In Pilot Debrief's most-watched upload of the week, he warns about distressing recordings circulating online and leaves the graphic audio out. He reconstructs the radio exchanges instead, keeping the focus on what they can establish about the fatal Learjet flight.
"The Learjet Plane Crash Was Worse Than We Thought!" traces the Bahamas-bound jet's passage through stormy weather before its crash in Palm Beach County. Hoover examines flight animations, radar overlays and dashcam footage, including indications that the horizontal stabilizer may have been missing. He makes clear that this has not been confirmed, and that the cause remains unknown.
The other upload, "Pilot Tried Deadly Impossible Turn!", concerns a Mooney departing Beverly, Massachusetts. According to the NTSB findings described in the video, an improperly installed spark plug contributed to an engine backfire, but the engine was producing close to full power as the airplane descended. The investigation identified loss of control while maneuvering back toward the airport as the probable cause. Both occupants died.
Those two uploads are also the channel's strongest sources of daily viewing, while September's five-case safety debrief continues to draw attention. Across the channel, daily views are running at more than four times the usual level, and the week brought 20,000 additional subscribers. Nearby in aviation, Captain Steeeve is also experiencing unusually strong viewing.
For Hoover, a former F-15E pilot, the Learjet analysis ends with the work investigators still face: recovering evidence, examining recorders and establishing a sequence that the available images cannot settle alone.
