Did No One Else Do This...? #Shorts
Taking the iPhone Duo apart was only half the job. Phone Repair Guru holds up the functioning foldable in his new Short and asks: "Am I the only one who actually got the Duo back together?"
The clip has drawn about 340,000 views in its first 21 hours. Following his earlier teardown, it shows the other side of that painstaking disassembly: a phone that still works afterward.
He includes clips from iFixit, Max Tech and JerryRigEverything showing inner displays breaking during removal, then turns to Apple's repair manual. Its removal instructions look aggressive, he says, but there's a practical distinction: ordinarily, someone removing that screen would already be replacing a broken one.
His assessment gives the engineering some credit without softening the financial sting. The service price list he displays puts inner-display damage repair at $999. That is the repair charge, not the price of the replacement panel alone.
