- 0:00Taku sets out his goal of catching a bluefin from his own boat after months of trying.
- 0:46A solo trolling trip produces a heavy pull, with the reveal at 03:03.
- 4:43Neighbor Kirk joins another offshore trip, and the pair catch albacore.
- 6:31A powerful strike starts a prolonged fight, with Taku and Kirk taking turns.
- 14:57A whale surfaces behind the boat along the fishing line; the encounter's outcome comes at 15:43.
Taku hooks something heavy on a solo offshore trip, works his arms hard, and finally brings up a large clump of kelp. His bluefin ambition is going to require more than determination.
"First Bluefin on My Small Boat," Outdoor Chef Life's only new upload this week, follows that pursuit across separate trips. Neighbor Kirk joins him for the next outing, which brings albacore, distant whale sightings and a much more demanding strike. The pair take turns on the rod, and Taku switches the reel into low gear. "It's a marathon. This is a marathon," he says.
Despite the title, the bluefin isn't a confirmed catch. The fish escapes, and on the drive home Taku suspects it was a bluefin weighing more than a hundred pounds. The whale that surfaces behind the boat makes the encounter stranger still, without establishing what was on the hook.
The upload reached roughly 13,000 views in its first four hours. Viewers are discussing the missed fish and the decision to keep the boat in gear, with several suggesting neutral would reduce tension. Others mark the familiar ritual of Taku Tuesdays.
Across the channel, subscribers stayed unchanged and daily viewing is running below its usual level. Weekly views were close to Halle Burns's, while nearby food channels Sam Jose and Krispy Pizza had much larger weeks.
Among the older uploads with daily viewing figures, "Bringing My Boat Beach Camping" is busiest. The coastal outings "The MOST UNDERRATED Fish on the West Coast | Beach Camp" and "Nobody Talks About These Fish!" are also continuing to draw viewers, keeping the beach-camp side of Taku's cooking-and-fishing world in circulation.

@theresaochoa-lionetti2950See it on YouTube2.2 mph adds a lot of tension when you already have a big fish on. I would always kick it in neutral after I knew I had a good hook up.
