The New York Post has passed two and a third billion lifetime views, and its week was a typical tabloid mix. There were fifteen uploads, spanning immigration raids, floods, the Oval Office and animals behaving badly.
The most watched was security footage from Chile & Chili's Taqueria in Tallahassee. On September 25, ICE agents detained three workers from Guatemala there. According to the description, the rest of the staff quit afterward and the business closed for a while. The owners have since started raising money for the families, and local groups organized a rally. The video is close to 20,000 views.
The lighter stories came next. A bear wandered into the Aspen farmers' market, skipped the crowd and went straight for the bread and pastries, then climbed a tree and fell asleep. Bystander Staci Egloff filmed it. On Long Island, animal rescuer John DeBacker took apart a shredder to free three black kittens. The Iowa steel announcement and Bangkok's flooded streets drew a more modest audience.
