Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 179,266 views a day, 10 times a normal first day on this channel (17,982).

Safe to say that Kyle Shanahan's focus is elsewhere #49ers #sanfrancisco #nfl #football #sf

Brandon Aiyuk supplies the subject, but the exchange between Kyle Shanahan and a reporter supplies the talking point. NFL on FOX's press-conference Short has viewers discussing both the coach's answer and the way the question was asked.

The channel captions it "Safe to say that Kyle Shanahan's focus is elsewhere," crediting the footage to the 49ers and X/LombardiHimself. It drew roughly 180,000 first-day views, about ten times the usual start for a Short on the channel. The comment section was even further above its usual activity, with the reporter's delivery becoming a recurring subject.

There is an Aiyuk-side companion, too: NFL on FOX also posted a Short titled "Brandon Aiyuk looks ahead to the possibilities of what's next #nfl #football #49ers #sanfancisco #sf". That upload attracted well above the channel's usual first-day audience, though Shanahan's press exchange drew the larger crowd.
