Ranking Best Of Pokemon Vs Hydraulic Press

Diglett has a simple solution to a descending hydraulic press: go underground and wait. Mewtwo takes a less accommodating approach, shattering the machinery with psychic power.

Those animated escape strategies are drawing an unusually large audience to MrBrushHour's "Ranking Best Of Pokemon Vs Hydraulic Press". The upload added about 2.5 million views in a day, more than ten times its usual daily pace, bringing it to roughly 3.6 million views.

This is a compilation on a clips channel, not a physical experiment with Pokémon toys. Its 3D animated characters each get a turn beneath the press, with numbered rankings and their names displayed in English and Japanese. Metagross braces its steel body against the machinery, while Gengar slips sideways as a shadowy, liquid-like form. The joke changes with the creature rather than simply repeating the crush.

The comments turn that premise into a discussion of game mechanics. Viewers invoke Golem's Explosion move, debate how Steel-type damage should affect its Rock/Ground typing, and ask whether Mimikyu's disguise should have protected it. Others give Mewtwo's brief intervention an imagined personality: the press has picked the wrong Pokémon.

I like how Mewtwo was like "don't even think about it"
@selenopheriaSee it on YouTube
Golem is a Rock/Ground-type Pokémon, so it takes neutral damage from Steel-type moves.
