6-year-old boy impressively catches entire school of fish

Wholesome Report has shared a fishing trip where the hard part isn't finding the fish. It's getting them aboard once Jack has caught them.

The six-year-old throws a green cast net from a boat near Shackleford Banks, North Carolina, then waits for it to sink. He's gathering bait, he explains. When his father tells him to pull, Jack leans back against the rope and gets to work.

Then a wriggling bundle surfaces. Jack's instructions become rather shorter: "Help!" His father steps in to lift the loaded net out of the water, while the woman filming calls out, "Nice catch, Jack!"

The Short, titled "6-year-old boy impressively catches entire school of fish", reached around 38,000 views in its first 15 hours, putting it well ahead of the channel's usual Shorts start.

Wholesome Report is sharing the footage rather than filming the outing itself: the clip carries a Daily Mail logo and credits Heidi Tucker via Storyful. Its on-screen captions say Jack has been helping his dad catch fish since he was three. He handles the cast here; Dad supplies the extra lifting power.
