Press to jump

0:00The opening riff comes with scrolling tablature, chord names and a tempo marking of 117 BPM.
0:40The clean, arpeggiated section provides a contrast to the heavier riffs.
1:10The playthrough moves into pre-chorus and chorus power-chord parts.
2:42A skull-patterned Charvel takes over for the solo against a Nightmare on Elm Street backdrop.
3:36Extended guitar fills and the outro solo carry the playthrough toward its finish.

The guitar changes when the solo arrives. Mr. Tabs switches from an olive-green electric to a skull-patterned Charvel, with a Nightmare on Elm Street backdrop completing the scene. The scrolling tablature keeps going: even a horror-themed entrance has notes to teach.

"Dokken - Dream Warriors - Guitar Tab | Lesson | Cover | Tutorial" was Patrick Dwyer's only upload this week, reaching about 76,000 views. The song was written for A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, so its October 31 release has a very specific connection beyond seasonal dressing. George Lynch's guitar parts give the lesson its route from heavy riffs through clean arpeggios to the solo.

Viewers are discussing the wall-breaking solo entrance and the sweater, alongside requests for more Dokken, particularly songs from Under Lock and Key. Others are remembering the big-hair era's riffs. It is a suitably theatrical choice for a channel built around learning by playing along.

Dream Warriors is also drawing the most daily views of the channel's currently busiest lessons, comfortably above the older Sweet Home Alabama and The Ocean tutorials. Across the channel, the week brought roughly 2.3 million views while subscribers held steady. Daily viewing is a little below its usual level.

Among nearby music-teaching channels, EMIL VERGO had a particularly large week, while The Ruby Piano's daily viewing is running above normal. Mr. Tabs sits third for weekly views gained in this group, with an archive that stretches from this Dokken outing to its enduring Master of Puppets lesson.

Fantastic.
One of Lynch's best leads IMO. The production on this song was just next level.
You can just feel the compression on that F to G in the Chorus on the original recording. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
