Dana White 'flying to DC right now' after President Trump's job offer

MMA Junkie posted fifteen videos across a week of weigh-ins, faceoffs and fighter interviews, but its biggest new audience came for a question outside the cage: would Dana White become the US press secretary?

In press-conference footage courtesy of Zuffa Boxing, White laughs when asked about President Trump's offer. "I'm flying to Washington, D.C. right now," he says. Asked how he could balance the position with his existing responsibilities, he acknowledges that he already has plenty of jobs. He confirms a Monday meeting, not an appointment or an acceptance. The clip drew roughly 97,000 views in its first four hours.

The rest of the week stayed closer to MMA Junkie's usual territory. Its full UFC Vegas 124 weigh-in and faceoff broadcast was the next most-watched new upload, with every fighter making weight for the Las Vegas card headlined by Waldo Cortes-Acosta and Johnny Walker. Farah Hannoun also spoke with Khamzat Chimaev ahead of his RAF Abu Dhabi main event against Colby Covington.

Among uploads with a current daily viewing rate, the Virna Jandiroba-Tatiana Suarez faceoff has the most momentum, followed closely by that Chimaev interview. Those two are continuing to draw viewers after the full weigh-in broadcast's initial burst.

Subscribers were unchanged over the week, although daily views are now nearly double the channel's usual level. Nearby in size, THE MMA GURU also had an unchanged subscriber count and is having a slower-than-usual viewing day. MMA Junkie's own week ends with another familiar press-conference subject: Conor McGregor discussing Max Holloway and the fighters calling to be his final UFC opponent.
