Lina Rebouh starts a quarterly-close presentation, then gives Copilot Cowork another assignment while the first is running. Waiting for a slide deck needn't mean watching a progress bar.
Her walkthrough, "How finance teams use Copilot Cowork", was the most watched of Microsoft Copilot's five uploads this week, reaching roughly 15,000 views. These are Microsoft's own product demonstrations, and this one offers a detailed look at the workflow rather than just the finished slides. Rebouh uploads spreadsheets and previous presentations, reviews the resulting PowerPoint beside Excel data, and shows a custom "variance commentary" skill.
The recurring forecast is where the demonstration becomes particularly interesting: Rebouh sets Cowork a task to run every morning. One viewer specifically points to that section as making the distinction from ordinary Copilot Chat clearer. Another asks how the generated results were cross-checked. Together, those questions get to the practical issue behind the demo: which work can be delegated, and what still needs review?
Finance occupied most of the week's releases, including "New accounting skills in Copilot in Excel", which demonstrates matching transactions and flagging exceptions. "Microsoft Copilot: A Beginner's Introduction" provided a less specialized starting point and is now the next busiest upload behind Rebouh's walkthrough.
The channel added about 1,000 subscribers over the week, while daily viewing sits slightly below its usual level. Nearby technology channels Microsoft Developer and Amazon Web Services are both drawing more than twice their typical daily views. For Microsoft Copilot, the week's distinctive detail is smaller and more concrete: a forecast update put on a morning schedule.

Couldn’t the initial file analysis and presentation creation also be done in regular Copilot Chat? The recurring forecast updates later in the video make the Cowork use case much clearer. It would be helpful to explain where Chat is enough and where Cowork adds value.
