Views jump 12x the channel's usual pace

MattDoesFitness spends a day with a 30-stone man

His new upload brings an individual focus to his obesity documentaries, as daily channel views climb far beyond their usual pace.

Why this story? The whole channel is running at 1,143,947 views a day, 12 times a normal day (96,709).

MattDoesFitness has ended his upload break with a more personal-scale companion to September's town-wide obesity documentary. Rather than spending time in a place, the new video centers on spending a day with one man.

"I Spent 24 Hours With a 30 Stone Man" has drawn nearly a million views since its October 20 release. Across the channel, daily views have risen to roughly 1.1 million, almost twelve times the usual pace. That channel-wide jump accompanies the new release, though it does not tell us how much each upload contributed.

The creator's search tags frame the video around daily life with obesity, eating habits and the difficulties of losing weight. It follows "I Spent 48 Hours in the UK's Fattest Town", continuing a subject that has moved beyond Matt's familiar food challenges.

That is a notable contrast for a channel whose enduring hits include an enormous cheat day and a diet swap with Eddie Hall. Food remains central, but these two documentary-style titles put the emphasis on living with weight rather than setting an eating challenge.
