MarTHREEnez needs the ball. Getting it is the first problem: his pickup team falls behind 3-14 while he waits for passes, with a defender who had insisted on guarding him.

Then the long shots start dropping. Wearing a gray tank top and sweatpants, MarTHREEnez strings together baskets from beyond the arc until an opponent offers his defender a way out: "You wanna switch?"

"Nah, I'm straight," the defender replies.

The Short follows the comeback through defensive pressure, a pass to a teammate for a layup and, eventually, a game-winning shot from deep. Handshakes follow, along with MarTHREEnez's own explanation: "Just give me the ball, man. It's that simple, man."

The upload drew an estimated 48,000 views in its first day, more than six times his usual Shorts opening. Another basketball Short, "No Corner 3!? #marthreenez #basketball #palmcoast #flaglercounty #basketballtraining", also started far above his usual pace.

Viewers aren't only talking about the shooting. The most-liked comment asks why a teammate took so long to pass, while another thread gets into the pickup scoring system: shots inside the arc count for one, and those beyond it count for two. Even in a comeback built around making shots, getting possession is what keeps the conversation going.
