A teammate calls for everyone to stop giving Mat the ball. The reel keeps finding him with it, and the next possession rarely offers much reassurance.

MarTHREEnez's pickup-game Short strings together errant passes, lost dribbles and shots taken with defenders very much in the way. It drew an estimated 57,000 views in its first day, roughly six times the usual start for the channel's Shorts. The comment section was nearly six times as busy, too.

The reactions on court are half the story. A teammate in blue starts by questioning a pass, then worries aloud about the accumulating turnovers. Mat later offers a concise apology: "Won't happen again, my bad." The edit gives that promise little room to breathe before returning to missed shots and blocks.

Viewers pick up on the gap between the instruction to stop passing to him and his continued involvement. Others suggest that simpler plays would serve him better. The title itself softens the on-screen question about being the worst teammate with a gentler answer: not really. This is a reel of basketball mistakes, with the sideline commentary left in.

Menace is a pretty decent player. He just tries to do too much if he just stuck to the basics. He can do really well
