I Tried Illegal Minecraft Mods from China

"I Tried Illegal Minecraft Mods from China" is the only new video on Lynix's channel, and its title does all the explaining. The description adds nothing beyond the title, so what exactly makes these mods illegal is left for the video itself. It cleared 100,000 views inside its first day and is closing in on a quarter of a million four days later.

It fits a pattern. Lynix has built a run of videos around getting into trouble with the game, and the one just behind the new upload in daily views is "X-Raying, But Only Mining COAL Until I Get Banned," nineteen days old and past 700,000. Further back sits "Breeding Cats Until I Get Banned," posted around the start of the year, past 1.2 million views and still drawing a steady trickle.

The channel is running a little ahead of its usual daily views, around 130,000 a day. That is a better spot than many of the Minecraft channels near its size, where xisumavoid, CaylusCraft, al1 and Knarfy are all well under their normal pace. fWhip remains the busiest of the group, close to its usual level. For a self-described Minecraft Phenomenon with a single upload, a week slightly above normal is a tidy result.
