רצים לקלפי: בתל אביב לא מוותרים על אימון לפני ההצבעה
The reporter asks whether she is running straight to the polling station. Not yet, the woman on Tel Aviv's promenade replies: first she needs to calm down and decide whom she wants to vote for.
The brief exchange, broadcast by Kan News, the news division of Israel's Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation, offers a street-level moment from the country's October 27 election, away from party headquarters and coalition calculations.
Its Hebrew title, "רצים לקלפי: בתל אביב לא מוותרים על אימון לפני ההצבעה", means "Running to the polls: Tel Aviv voters won't skip a workout before voting." The report follows one runner, rather than surveying the city's exercise or voting habits.
She confirms that she knows where her polling station is. And postponing her own visit until after the run does not mean dismissing the election: she urges everyone to turn out, saying that voting matters and every vote counts.
