My friends & family watch outside for the first time!!
Kaci-Jay's about text promises weekly vlogs of life with her, and this week life included a Netflix show. She is in the first season of Outside, the Sidemen's reality series, and her newest vlog brings friends and family together to watch it for the first time.
It drew about 92,000 views in its first 24 hours, far beyond anything else she posted this week. A premiere tease, a spa visit the title calls the worst she has ever been to, and a short titled "Don't hate the player hate the game" filled out the rest of a four-upload week. Her prep vlog from the day before the show launched, "I'm gonna be on Netflix!!! Let's prep for outside 🌟," is still pulling viewers too.
The comment section reads like a review page for the show. Several viewers have already finished every episode, a few say they watched only because she was in it, and longtime viewers compare her with the girl they first met on Dad v Girls, the family channel where many of them found her. One moment gets quoted back: someone asking why she didn't go home with her dad.
The whole channel is running at roughly twice its usual daily pace, though subscribers only edged up by about a thousand. Among vlog channels close to her size, Bryton and Jade and Grace Reiter had the biggest weeks. Gemma Louise Miles and Brynley Joyner ran quieter than usual, and Kaci-Jay ended up in the middle of that group, with her family on the sofa.
