Grace May turned her new set of nails into a question, "Was it WORTH THE PRICE?", and the people under the short took it seriously. Twelve hours after it went up it had about 62,000 views, on a channel where a new short usually ends its whole first day near 14,000.
The comment section moved even faster than the views, filling about four times quicker than her shorts usually do. Most of it is about the bill. Viewers compare it with what they, a sister or a cousin paid for something similar, and one points out how much less a detailed acrylic set tends to cost in England. A few self-described nail techs join in: they call the design simple, note it is a Gel-X set, and one adds a word of advice about speaking up when a treatment hurts. Plenty of others simply say the nails look adorable.
It was not her only manicure post that day. "Rate my new nails 🤎," a fall set, passed 77,000 views in its first day. Behind both sits the overnight blowout short we reported on here, "I woke up like this 🙄," which has now passed 2.4 million views. Between them, the whole channel is drawing about four times its usual daily views. Her about text calls her a girl going through a hormonal crisis, and lately her mix of acne honesty, hair and nails is landing.
