Scott Ritter's Europe interview runs far ahead of Judge Napolitano's daily lineup
The former UN weapons inspector's conversation passed 78,000 views in eight hours, on a day when the show also turned to Europe with Tony Shaffer.
Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 165,038 views a day, 16 times a normal first day on this channel (10,548).
Scott Ritter : How Europe is Defeating Itself
Scott Ritter is a familiar face on Judging Freedom, and his latest visit has drawn a crowd quickly. "Scott Ritter : How Europe is Defeating Itself" had close to 80,000 views eight hours after it went up. That is already far beyond the roughly 10,000 a new video on the channel usually gathers in its whole first day, and it is on course for about fifteen times that.
The format is the one Andrew Napolitano has built the show on. A single guest, a colon, and a question or argument for a title. The former New Jersey Superior Court judge, long known to television viewers as a legal analyst, now spends most days interviewing guests about war, foreign policy and government power. Ritter brings a particular background to the chair: he was a Marine intelligence officer and later a United Nations weapons inspector in Iraq in the 1990s.
The argument is in the title, and the description adds nothing beyond it. Under the video, many of the comments are greetings, from Glasgow, from Wales and from Brazil. Others turn to the fighting in Ukraine and to how it has been covered.
Europe was a theme of the day. The channel also posted Tony Shaffer on why European leaders hate Russia, along with Pepe Escobar on Beijing and Tehran and Col. Lawrence Wilkerson on Netanyahu. Of that lineup, it was Ritter's hour that ran ahead.
