Straight from the police: ITV News' Fairford update takes off
Two days after a report asking about a possible Iran link, the investigators' own briefing is moving fast on a channel otherwise running at about half its normal pace.

The rest of the channel was moving the other way, drawing roughly half its usual daily views. Other broadcasters were slower too, 7NEWS Australia and CBC News: The National among them, though neither dipped as far.
The title describes the video plainly: police speaking for themselves about the investigation at the Gloucestershire airbase, a station the US Air Force uses for its bomber deployments. On Sunday, ITV News covered the same case with a report asking whether counter-terrorism police were looking for a link to Iran. This time the update comes from the police directly.
