Some viewers have a simpler request than another rehearsal: give Storm his treat. Dylan Novak's latest attempt to synchronize head turns with his French bulldog has the comments making a case for rewarding the effort anyway.

The Short drew about 1.2 million views in its first day, more than nine times the usual first-day audience for Novak's Shorts. Its caption offers an encouraging verdict: another chance next time, buddy.

Sitting beside Storm, who is perched on a small raised cushion, Novak gently guides the dog's head through the first turn. When Novak switches direction for the next cue, Storm keeps looking the other way. Novak breaks into laughter.

Directional confusion is familiar territory for this pair. Novak's August upload titled "your other left😂 Storm the Frenchie #frenchie #dance #funny #frenchbulldog #dog" has accumulated roughly 26 million views. Another Storm dance clip, posted in October with a caption about the dog taking Novak's spotlight, has also passed a million views.
