Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis - Official 30th Anniversary Teaser Trailer

Rolling boulders, motorcycle jumps and Lara Croft covered in gold: IGN's most-watched new upload offers plenty for longtime Tomb Raider players to recognize.

"Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis - Official 30th Anniversary Teaser Trailer" moves from overgrown temple ruins to acrobatic gunplay, with barely a pause for breath and no spoken dialogue. Revealed at TR30 Derby and MCM London, the preview has reached roughly 4.2 million views. It is also the channel's busiest video right now.

The comments supply a particularly fitting anniversary conversation. Viewers compare the new imagery with how the original game looked in their memories, pick out Lara's side jumps and backflips, and discuss the gold-transformation moment. Others ask for Croft Manor or hope the exploration retains the original's mystery and challenge. The interest isn't just in sharper scenery; it is in familiar ways of moving through it.

IGN posted 45 uploads across the week. The Avengers: Doomsday teaser brought another substantial audience, while the surprise among the busiest uploads is an advertisement: "Classic internet memes brought out of retirement in new Firefox ad." That nostalgia trip has passed a million views and is currently drawing more daily viewing than the Avengers preview.

The channel remains at 20 million subscribers, unchanged over the week, while its current daily viewing is well below its usual level. That softer daily pace also appears at gameranx and GameSpot; videogamedunkey is having a busier-than-usual spell.

Beyond the trailers, Travis Northup's "Phantom Blade Zero Review" praises the combat while finding the revenge story safer and some technical details frustrating. And "Exodus - Official 'Liberating the Kay' Mission Gameplay" adds an unusual rescue assignment to the week's lineup: freeing a species of Awakened frogs.

Modern graphics are great, but I really hope they keep the atmosphere, mystery, and challenging exploration of the original Tomb Raider.

This looks insane! As insane as I felt the original looked in 1996! I can't believe it was 30 years ago when I first played this game! That's insane to think about!

as someone who grew up as a kid playing the classic tomb raider games, and then as a highschooler and college student who played the square enix reboots, this lara feels like the perfect mix of both! excited to play this. lets goo!!!
