IGN's Avengers: Doomsday preview ends with Steve holding Mjolnir and asking, "This doesn't bother you, does it?" Thor's answer is immediate: "You know it does." The exchange gives a small, familiar friction to a preview otherwise promising heroes united against Doctor Doom.

The upload drew about 1.5 million views in its first day, roughly twenty times the channel's usual start for videos this short. But its title, "Avengers Doomsday - Official Trailer 2 (2026) Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans", became a subject of its own. Several prominent comments question whether the brief clip warrants being called a second trailer, describing it instead as a teaser or TV spot.

Between the hammer handoff and that closing complaint, Doom appears, the Fantastic Four meet Wakandan allies, and Paul Rudd's Ant-Man struggles to address the assembled Captains America. Wyatt Russell's contribution is particularly economical: "I was also Cap. For a minute." Viewers also pick out Thor's weary reaction and joke about the prospect of lengthy breakdowns of such a short preview.

Marvel wasn't IGN's only fast-starting attraction: both Tomb Raider anniversary uploads also drew unusually large audiences. The Legacy of Atlantis sneak peek introduces more of Lara Croft's adventure ahead of its announced February release.
