Two crocodiles share the river on FVR375's aerial rounds
An October wildlife clip supplies a change of scene during a week without new uploads.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Couple of absolute tanks sizing each other up. #fvrcontracting #fvr375 #crocodile #crocodiles
Aircraft noise and wind are the only soundtrack as two large crocodiles swim parallel through muddy brown water. FVR375's camera circles above them, moves closer to catch their armoured backs and sweeping tails, then pulls out towards the mangrove-lined bank. One dives, leaving ripples and a solitary swimmer behind.
The title, "Couple of absolute tanks sizing each other up. #fvrcontracting #fvr375 #crocodile #crocodiles", gives the encounter a playful interpretation. The footage itself is an unhurried aerial observation, a different use of the overhead viewpoint familiar from the channel's feral-animal control videos.
FVR375 posted nothing new this week. That crocodile clip, posted a little over a fortnight ago, is the busiest of its individual uploads right now, with older open-flat and mud-swamp shooting clips also drawing views. The channel is run by the owner of Feral Vertebrate Reduction Contracting, which describes its work as conservation-based feral-animal control in Australia.
Across the channel, the week brought roughly 57,000 views, while subscribers remained unchanged. Daily viewing is a little below its usual level. Nearby outdoors channel Outback Boys drew a similar weekly audience, while 402_Outdoors had a much busier week with more than a million views. For FVR375, the freshest point of interest is the river encounter: no commentary, no shooting, just two reptiles and the aircraft passing overhead.
