the author of 'tradwife' doesn't know what a tradwife is...?

Even the juice recipe gets a bad review. In the description of his new upload, frankie's shelf singles it out as another disappointment in a book he finds baffling.

The video, titled "the author of 'tradwife' doesn't know what a tradwife is...?", arrived on November 6. It has reached roughly 276,000 views, alongside a channel-wide jump to about 308,000 views in a day. Those daily views include the whole library, not just the new review.

"Tradwife" is short for "traditional wife," an online label associated with homemaking and traditional marital gender roles. The title questions whether the book understands the very identity it invokes.

That skeptical approach is familiar territory here. The channel's most-watched upload is "i'm pretty sure this book is ai slop", followed by "i found the worst book ever written". A modest channel description, "just a guy who likes books," leaves plenty of room for disliking particular ones.

The new review is also the first upload since September's "reading books about creeps and stalkers". After that gap, frankie's shelf has returned with a specific literary grievance, right down to the refreshments.
