A better weapon is only yours until you die. In Freshlol's "This Spear Gives You Superpowers," each kill brings another upgrade, but death sends the player back to a wooden spear. That makes every shortcut tempting and every ambush expensive.

This is a scripted Minecraft adventure on Spear SMP's third season, not an ordinary survival session. Freshlol slips into an Ancient City for golden apples, heads toward the Nether for supplies and uses sweet berry bushes to slow pursuers. ItsRedish supplies a particularly pointed obstacle: when Freshlol calls to boast about reaching the Lapis Spear, ItsRedish says he has reached it too. So much for a comfortable advantage.

The upload collected about 240,000 views in its first 15 hours, making it the most watched of Freshlol's four posts this week. The comments have a practical question running through them: is this familiar footage? Several viewers describe it as earlier spear videos brought together into a movie, while others discuss the spear-and-mace combination or settle in with popcorn.

Elsewhere, "minecraft trick or treat..." supplied a seasonal stream, and two Shorts returned to server life: "You've NEVER Joined a Server like this..." and "I Joined My Brother's School SMP." The longer brother-server adventure from just before this week remains among the channel's busiest videos, alongside "I Joined a Spear Mace Only Minecraft SMP," whose description notes that some scenes were staged for entertainment.

Freshlol added about 20,000 subscribers over the week. Daily viewing is currently well below its usual level, though the channel gained more weekly views than the nearby Minecraft channels here. LookOut2DD also had a substantial week, while Tango Tek and Shubble were quieter. Within Freshlol's own library, the new spear quest is drawing the most daily viewing, keeping weapon upgrades at the center of the channel's activity.
