Mike Finnegan was supposed to be making space in the garage. Trading his GMC Sierra for a 1955 Chevy and some cash was, technically, getting rid of a truck. Jessa now gets to judge the other half of that bargain from the driver's seat.

"Wifey Drives a 55 Chevy That Hasn't Run in Years! Will She Love It?" was the most watched of four new uploads, reaching roughly 383,000 views. Before the drive, Mike and his friend Rod tackle the revival: a new battery, old gasoline pumped out through a floor hatch, and fresh fuel. This is no ordinary old Bel Air, either. Built by Newman Car Creations for autocross, it has exhaust routed through the front fenders. The episode includes a sponsored app segment.

Jessa straps into the racing harness, works the six-speed manual and eventually gets a burnout lesson in an empty industrial parking lot. There is some confusion between smoking the clutch and spinning the tires. Mike also wants a little recognition: "Tell the people I'm right." Her answer: "Baby, I'm not gonna say you're right." By the return to the garage, she admits she thoroughly enjoyed the drive.

Viewers are talking about her solo driving footage, the clutch mishap and whether the Chevy has effectively become hers. Several want another outing with Jessa, including a turn in Blasphemi.

Elsewhere, the week's Dragon Drive updates tell a less comfortable mechanical story: an overnight Death Metal repair is followed by "RIP to my 2JZ! Death Metal is out of T Angelo's 4D dragon drive. The c10 is still rolling. :)". Across the channel, weekly views topped 1.6 million while subscribers held steady. Daily viewing is running at nearly three times its usual level, with the Chevy test drive the busiest upload and the preceding car-trade episode approaching a million views. Among nearby motoring channels, Finnegan's Garage had the largest weekly view gain; OFFICIALLY GASSED also had a busy week, while TheSmokingTire was quieter.
