Hot springs and a cloud-wrapped castle on Expedia's Hyogo itinerary

Kinosaki Onsen, Takeda Castle and Kobe beef feature in the travel company's selection for its 2027 destinations list.

The alarm means business. Expedia's Hyogo video has its travelers waking before dawn to reach Takeda Castle, where the ruins rise above a sea of clouds.

This is a promotional travel vignette from the booking company, part of a five-upload week built around its travel-trends campaign. In "Hyogo, Japan: 2027 Destination of the Year", the early hike sits between a stay in Kinosaki Onsen, complete with yukatas and hot-spring hopping, and Kobe beef cooked on a teppanyaki grill. It is the week's most-watched new upload, with about 4,000 views.

The other stops broaden the map: Parker York Smith supplies the packing-and-style angle for Perugia, Niagara-on-the-Lake gets a turn beyond its famous neighboring falls, and Holbox brings an island setting. The Skorys feature in "Book the Cousin Trip Already", taking the campaign from destinations to the people you might travel with.

For momentum, though, an older German journey is doing considerably more work. "A concert pianist's guide to Germany with Claire Huangci | The Professionals" is adding views much faster than any of those new uploads. Its route connects Frankfurt's Alte Oper with vineyard stages in the Rheingau, Dresden, Munich and Bamberg, letting a musician's working world shape the itinerary.

Expedia added roughly eight million views over the week while its subscriber count stayed unchanged. Its current daily viewing is well below its usual level, whereas Disney Parks is near its normal daily pace and EarthCam is above its own. Within Expedia's active travel library, Huangci's concert-hall route remains the clearest draw.
