News interview or production. Among the comments, one viewer picks out the hands-in-pockets stance and slouch: the recognition goes beyond the wardrobe.

Across 21 uploads, that return to audition-day Harry drew roughly 133,000 views. Keke Palmer and her son recreating Janet and Michael Jackson's "Scream" video supplied another well-watched costume tribute. Zendaya took a different route through pop-culture history, recreating Halle Berry's look from the 2000 X-Men premiere. Those three uploads are also the channel's busiest videos right now.

The costumes arrived during a slower stretch for the channel overall. Daily viewing is running at less than half its usual pace, while its subscriber count was unchanged over the week. Even so, E! News added about 11.5 million views, placing it third for weekly viewing gains among its nearby television and streaming peers. South Park Studios had a particularly active week; E! Entertainment and VICE TV were quieter. For E! News, the most-watched new clip needed only a few seconds and an old audition outfit.
