- 2:04Emmy introduces the instant noodle recipe she attributes to chef Gisung Park.
- 5:11The thicker Chapagetti noodles go into boiling water before the Shin noodles and dried vegetables.
- 8:08She drains the noodles, adds the seasoning packets and oil, and cooks the mixture until saucy.
- 8:57Garden chives, sesame seeds and a sunny-side-up egg finish the plated noodles.
- 11:09The taste test highlights chewy noodles, spicy savory seasoning and the richness of the runny yolk.
Emmy isn't convinced by Chapagetti on its own. Combine it with Shin Ramyun, though, and she finds a reason to keep it in the pantry.
"Michelin Star Chef's After-Work Instant Ramen" is the most-watched of emmymade's two uploads this week, reaching roughly 83,000 views. Testing a recipe she attributes to chef Gisung Park, Emmy cooks the thicker Chapagetti noodles first, adds the Shin noodles, then drains the water before mixing in the seasonings. A sunny-side-up egg, sesame seeds and chives from her garden finish the plate. The video opens with a sponsored segment before the cooking begins.
The payoff is partly texture: chewy noodles, a concentrated sauce and a yolk that makes everything silkier. "And this converts me to Chapagetti," she says. Viewers are trading their own pantry variations, including American cheese, butter and an egg stirred directly into the noodles.
Her other new upload, "Is 2-Ingredient Prison Candy Good?", has reached about 60,000 views and currently has the strongest daily momentum on the channel. Its homemade candy experiment moves through mixing, kneading and cutting, with crushed Jolly Ranchers added as a coating. It also had a slightly bigger opening day than the ramen video.
Subscriber numbers stayed unchanged over the week, while today's viewing is well above the channel's usual daily level. Among nearby food channels, kennysong is also having a particularly busy day, drawing more than twice its usual views.
Emmy's recent archive has company, too: "Testing Vintage Microwave Gadgets With Barry" remains active, with Barry Lewis helping put old Presto popcorn and bacon cookers through their kitchen trials.

What viewers say
That looks marvelous, and significantly less elaborate than I would anticipate from a chef’s “post-work” meal (they often end up seeming quick, yet “high skill” in nature lol)
@KikiQuixoteSee it on YouTubeShin makes the best package ramen IMO. Looks great! One thing I like with the Shin Ramyun is an egg and also a slice or two of American cheese. Makes it a spicy Mac N Noodles
@thomashammond8175See it on YouTubeI really love this combination and also don't really like the chapagetti on its own, it's so easy and I get 2 meals for myself out of it. Sometimes if I'm lazy but still want the extra protein I stir the egg directly into the noodles and it adds a nice richness to the sauce.

I‘d add a knob of butter, but looks great!
@anitasubramansSee it on YouTubeThis is my go-to comfort food <3
@tubeLuSee it on YouTubeI wasn't a fan of the chapagetti alone but i mixed it with the ottogi brand tteokbokki sauce and it was amazing
@QueenNemesis327See it on YouTubeI make something similar: udon noodles, fish cake (like fake crab), soy sauce and a fried egg; put some furikake on top and you’re good to go. You cook the udon noodles, then fry them with the soy sauce and add ripped up fish cake, then top with the egg. Yummers.
@roonboo96See it on YouTubeI want to try this now. I don't like either alone but maybe mixed is superior
