Bam says Kerry Getz gets the Consistency Award!

Kerry gets the award. Which award, exactly, takes Bam Margera a moment to decide: consistency or "hockey temper." His affectionate retrospective gave Dern Brothers its most-watched new upload of the week, reaching about 129,000 views.

"Bam says Kerry Getz gets the Consistency Award!" pairs Bam's outdoor interview with archival footage of Getz, Mike Maldonado and Vinnie Ponte. The stories move from traveling to California together for Toy Machine to Getz kickflipping Philadelphia's Love Park gap, then clearing Bam's blue Lamborghini at Castle Bam. Behind the spectacular obstacles is a simpler point: Bam says Getz's technical consistency pushed him to skate harder himself.

Viewers are picking up on the storytelling as much as the tricks. Several describe being transported back to their own early skate-watching days; others recall Getz's DVS Skate More part and the way he catches his board before landing.

The brothers posted three videos, with "Floating Halfpipe Skate and Surf Session!" adding an on-the-water change of scene. Their newer upload, "Bam wants to know if skaters of today know Chad Vogt?", is currently drawing the most daily views. The longer "Bam Margera Needs To Talk About These 7 Skaters!" also remains busy. Its description supplies the wonderfully uncomplicated setup: Bam came over and asked for the camera.

The channel added roughly a thousand subscribers, while daily viewing is close to its usual level. Nearby sports channels Weightlifting House and H.I.T GOLF had larger weekly audiences, while GOLF LIFE was quieter. For Dern Brothers, this week's distinctive draw was skate history told by someone who was there.

Always loved Kerry Getz as a skater! One of the cleanest styles ever. The way he catches every trick on bolts long before it’s landed is a thing of beauty 👌
