Luka & Jenalyn's Canada's Got Talent duet, and the slide viewers keep mentioning
A short cut from the dance duo's audition sat almost unnoticed for days, then became the busiest thing on a clips channel built around Got Talent dancers.
Why this story? The video is running at 101,831 views a day, 20 times its usual pace (5,207).
What a beautiful performance! #shorts
"What a beautiful performance!" is the whole title, and the description fills in the rest: Luka & Jenalyn, a dance duo, at their audition for Canada's Got Talent. Dancer's Got Talent, a clips channel that gathers dance acts from the Got Talent shows around the world, posted it as a short on October 1.
Its first day was modest, a few thousand views. Five days later it is drawing about 100,000 a day and is near 150,000 in all. On a day when the channel as a whole ran quieter than usual, this one short brought in almost half of its views.
The comments are mostly about how the two move together, with several people describing them as a single body. One moment comes up by name, a move where she slides down his back, and so does the kiss at the end. A few viewers are frustrated with the broadcast editing: every cut to the judges or the audience, they say, hides a piece of the dance. Others are already calling it a Golden Buzzer act.
The duo was not new to the channel. Their name sits in the tags of "7 AMAZING Dance Acts on Canada's Got Talent!", a longer roundup posted the day before. And the channel's biggest recent short is still a belly dance by Oleksandra Dorosh from Ukraine's Got Talent, which has more than twice the views.

What viewers say
As one body with no separation between them, that coordination; congratulations to both of them.

@DeborahC-b2tSee it on YouTubeIncredible! I only wish the camera didn't cut to the judges or audience so that I could see the entire performance. That one move where she slid down his back was amazing!
