'Don't Stop Believin'' meets 'Let It Go' in a dueling pianos audition

Joel Lightman and Donavan LeNabat walked into their 2024 audition with no song prepared and let the judges choose, and the clip passed 80,000 views in three days.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Canada's Got Talent spent its week back in the archive, and the clip doing the real work is one where nothing was planned. Joel Lightman and Donavan LeNabat, who perform as Great Canadian Dueling Pianos, came to their Season 4 audition in 2024 without a song and asked the judges to pick. They got Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" and "Let It Go" from Frozen, and the description says they built the mashup on the spot and walked off with four yeses.

The comments keep coming back to one question: where was the golden buzzer? Several viewers think the pair deserved one, and others simply say they would buy a concert ticket.

The four other uploads were more familiar fare. A compilation of solo singers, from Kellie Loder in 2022 to Yama Laurent in 2025, picked up steady attention, and the newest clip actually has a golden buzzer in it: Mat and Mym, an engaged roller-skating duo, earned Kardinal Offishall's. Sai Juttukonda's audition also went up, with the story of how Lilly Singh found her singing covers on TikTok and how she learned about the audition the same morning.

The channel overall ran at about half its usual daily pace, close to a million views for the week and no subscriber movement to speak of. Most of the talent and reality channels nearby were also running quiet. Food Club and Real Life Rescue were the exceptions, both ahead of their usual pace.
