Cadel and Mia Story of November 1, 2026Trari Newsroom

No. 18 on the daily chart

Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 19,553,240 views a day, 55 times a normal first day on this channel (355,776).

When lettuce hurts my GF 🤷‍♀️ WAIT FOR IT 🤣🥬

Mia drops her knife and cries out, and Cadel immediately stops chopping to check her finger. So far, a concerned boyfriend. Then he turns his attention to the lettuce.

This is a staged kitchen sketch, with an animated exit: after Cadel raises his knife and stabs the board beside the vegetable, a figure made of lettuce leaves runs away down a road, crying out as it goes. The salad ingredient gets a whole escape scene.

The Short has already drawn more than 17 million views before its first full day is over, far beyond the couple's usual start. Their day-in-the-life upload is also drawing an unusually large audience, though the kitchen sketch has attracted considerably more views.

There is a familiar joke here for anyone who saw Cadel take offence at a falling palm frond, as we reported here: something hurts Mia, and he treats it as a personal affront. This time, the supposed offender can flee.

The comments offer a fairly practical objection to his protectiveness. Several viewers point out that the knife, not the lettuce, caused the trouble. Others focus on the vegetable's running style. Cadel may be defending Mia, but the lettuce has its own defence team.
