Indians celebrating Halloween in Canada 😂🇨🇦🇮🇳

What makes an aunt a Halloween costume? For the visitor in Lyndsay and Kunal's sketch, the answer requires a quick change and some ominous props.

Asked what he plans to dress as, he announces Chachi ji, a respectful Hindi term for a paternal uncle's wife. The couple look puzzled. He asks them to wait, then returns with a yellow scarf over his head, a red tilak on his forehead, and a doll and needle in hand.

"How is this Chachi ji?" the woman asks. "Inside joke," comes the reply from the man beside her. The staged supernatural payoff follows: the visitor pokes the doll's foot, and the man suddenly screams and hops in pain.

Posted as "Indians celebrating Halloween in Canada 😂🇨🇦🇮🇳", the Short has passed a million views after an opening day roughly six times the channel's usual Shorts start.

The joke gives the couple's familiar Canadian-Indian culture comedy a seasonal twist. Their recent uploads have found material in workplace conversations, waking a husband with chai, and being left outside a Hindi conversation. Here, the confusion is about a family character rather than a misunderstood word.

Viewers are carrying that family reference into the comments: several recognize the Chachi ji character, while others nominate Bua ji, a paternal aunt, as an alternative. The man's dry response to the visitor's exuberant greeting, "Very enthusiastic Halloween," also gets a mention.
