Why this story? The video drew 3,956 comments in its first day, 14 times a normal first day on this channel (284).

Weve been keeping a secret… 🥹✨ Coming Summer 2027

The Magic 8-Ball says yes. Jess shakes it, turns its answer toward the camera, and sets up a family announcement whose real reveal is tucked inside her pumpkin.

In JesssFam's short video, Jess and Chris arrange pumpkins marked "MOM" and "DAD" on straw bales. The children add their own, writing names and birth years with purple markers. Then Jess turns her pumpkin around: inside its carved opening sits a miniature one labeled "BABY 2027." The title puts the expected arrival in summer.

The announcement drew nearly 4,000 comments in its first day, roughly fourteen times the usual response to a JesssFam Short. Its views were ordinary for the channel; the conversation was not. Among the replies are viewers saying they hadn't expected the news, while one pauses the congratulations to offer a very specific aside about shaking the Magic 8-Ball.

For a channel whose most-watched regular uploads include home-birth videos from years ago, it's a return to a familiar chapter with a different family tableau. This time, the children help assemble the announcement before everyone gathers around the pumpkins.
