A confession would save time, the investigator suggests. Danny Sloane has a small objection: he was on camera when the murder happened. The reply, "That's OK, you can still confess," neatly captures the comic detective logic of BritBox's biggest new upload this week.

"Danny Sloane is in the hot seat | Ludwig | BritBox" reached about 26,000 views. In this fictional interrogation scene, Stephen Merchant's suspect volunteers a motive, offers a burglary theory and keeps finding ways to answer questions without making himself particularly helpful. Viewers discuss the pleasure of watching him evade the investigators, while others recognize David Mitchell from Peep Show. Ludwig gives Mitchell a different sort of awkwardness to navigate, as a puzzle setter drawn into police work.

BritBox posted eleven uploads across the week. Another Ludwig encounter, "Crime Scene Consultant vs. Snooker Champion | Ludwig | BritBox," and an art-themed scene from The Other Bennet Sister drew audiences close to the interrogation clip's. Sense and Sensibility supplied Colonel Brandon's rescue, giving the detective-heavy selection a little Austen company.

The strongest momentum, however, belongs to an earlier upload. "Thank you for everything, Sir Patrick Stewart." has passed four million views and remains the channel's busiest video by daily views. The Blue Lights season-four trailer is also gathering attention, ahead of its November 12 premiere, with Grace, Tommy and Annie facing pressure over Northern Ireland's drug pipeline.

Subscribers edged upward over the week, although daily channel views are currently running at roughly half their usual level. Among nearby TV and streaming channels, Fox Nation had a larger weekly audience and FOX Soul a quieter one. BritBox's own week paired that continuing Stewart interest with a fresh suspect who has an answer for almost everything.
