Clippers in hand: Bailey Zimmerman gives his brother a haircut

Four shorts went up on October 1, among them a thank-you for a number one and a tease of new music, while 'Chevy Silverado' keeps rolling six weeks on.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Gave my bro a fresh new cut😮 💨 #countrymusic #haircut

A brother, a pair of clippers. That is the whole premise of "Gave my bro a fresh new cut," the most watched of the four shorts Bailey Zimmerman posted this week, and it is close to 100,000 views. The comments are mostly about the trust involved: viewers marvel that his brother let him do it at all, suggest a hat might come in handy, and joke that Bailey should sleep with one eye open. A few greet the brother by his handle, Daltdisney, and one asks for another 24-hour stream with the new look.

All four uploads arrived on October 1, and they read like a small diary. One promises that new music is coming and will be "fire." Another is a plain thank-you, "DANG… I still can't believe we hit number 1," though the title does not say which song or chart. The fourth confesses a weakness for chicken Alfredo.

The real engine is still "Chevy Silverado." The official video is six weeks old, has passed 1.7 million views, and draws more each day than all four new shorts put together. The channel as a whole held right at its usual pace, around 480,000 views a day.

Among country channels of a similar size, that puts the Illinois singer behind "Fall in Love" level with Lainey Wilson, whose daily views run almost exactly like his, and ahead of Warren Zeiders and Bryan Martin.

If you do it, you gotta rock it bro. If you wear it with confidence, no one will question it. But maybe keep a hat handy.😭
