A purse that holds everything, and John Mayer on set with Lainey Wilson

Five uploads circled her duet 'Phone, Keys, Wallet', from a behind-the-scenes cut of the video shoot to a bag-emptying short about never forgetting a thing.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

y’all need anything? I probably got it 👜 🤷🏼‍♀️

What does Lainey Wilson keep in her bag? Judging by her most watched upload of the week, nearly everything. "y'all need anything? I probably got it" has her pulling one item after another out of a purse, and it passed 150,000 views in under a week. The comments read like a rummage sale: viewers compare it to a junk drawer packed for travel, joke that she has everything but the kitchen sink, and one mother tells the story of asking her grown son why women carry purses.

The short is not a random bit. It sits right beside her new duet with John Mayer, "Phone, Keys, Wallet," a song about the few things she can't leave the house without. The official video, ten days old, is the one gathering the most views each day on the channel and is past 330,000. On Friday she added a behind-the-scenes cut of the shoot, plus a short promoting it with a joke about getting "aHEAD" of herself, and a Halloween short about losing her head. That line comes straight from the song.

For Mayer, the pairing joins a long run of guest turns beyond his own records. For Wilson, the 2023 CMA Entertainer of the Year, it is the song the whole channel is built around this week.

The channel's pace held right at its usual level, close to half a million views a day. Among country channels of a similar size, that sits next to Bailey Zimmerman, who has slightly fewer subscribers and almost exactly the same daily views.
