'Let Him In Anyway,' three ways, carries Blake Shelton's one short

A Vegas live cut from his Caesars Palace residency, a stripped lyric video and a new short all point at the same HARDY-linked prayer of a song.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Seven days old, a short titled "Could you let him in anyway 🙏 #countrymusic" is the only new upload on Blake Shelton's channel, and it is the busiest video there right now. It has passed 15,000 views, which is modest for a channel with 3.45 million subscribers. It is not working alone, though.

Right behind it sit two older versions of the same song. "Let Him In Anyway (Official Live Video)" was filmed at his residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. It went up about three and a half months ago and has passed 200,000 views. A stripped-down lyric video from August follows it. The song is a prayer for a best friend who died before he quite became the believer the singer hoped he would, asking for him to be let through the gates anyway. The tags tie it to the album For Recreational Use Only and to HARDY, the songwriter who also co-wrote "God's Country," one of Shelton's biggest hits of the last decade.

So the whole channel is one song this week, told three ways. Among country and folk channels of a similar size, only Luke Combs has more subscribers. Shelton's place is a steady second, with nothing new from him beyond a short that keeps pointing back to a song from the Vegas stage.
