Ame in a van's French countryside day begins in a river pool and ends with a candid admission from bed: beautiful surroundings don't necessarily make travelling alone feel less lonely.
There were no new uploads this week, but "Peaceful Day in a Life of a lonely girl ...🌲 || Van Life" is drawing the most daily views of the channel's videos. Posted more than four months ago, it follows Ame from a fully clothed river dip to rough tracks beside vineyards, a shaded parking spot and an evening stroll through a lit-up village.
"Sometimes it's all you need in life. Just go lay down in a river in a dress," she says after the swim. Later, beneath fairy lights in Gloria, she describes the difficulty of socialising on the road. The vlog also includes a portable power station product showcase, powering everything from hair straighteners to an espresso machine.
The channel added roughly 235,000 views and a thousand subscribers over the week, though daily viewing is currently below half its usual level. Among nearby travel channels, Tom from Texas and Scarlet & Seth had much larger viewing weeks; Dabble and Travel drew a similar weekly audience to Ame.
The kayak outing we covered here in October remains close behind the river vlog in daily viewing. "Escaping Life in my Van to a Lake 🌲🚐 solo female van life" is also among the busiest uploads: water continues to give Gloria's journeys their destinations.
