Unidentified Transmission - Robin & Kafka | Zenless Zone Zero
Kafka adjusts her sunglasses before drawing her weapons. Robin sprouts feathered wings. Honkai: Star Rail's crossover with Zenless Zone Zero has moved beyond a character tease into a look at how its guests will fight.
The official promotional gameplay trailer, "Unidentified Transmission - Robin & Kafka | Zenless Zone Zero", drew about 1.2 million views in its first day, more than twenty times the channel's usual start for Shorts. The comments offer something more specific than excitement about familiar faces: viewers are picking apart how those characters' signature styles translate into action combat.
Robin opens the showcase with a staff, energy fields and sweeping light attacks against an armored opponent. For a character known in Star Rail as a singer, her combat presence supplies a particular talking point: viewers keep returning to her one-handed parry.
Kafka's section shifts to rapid sword strikes, gunfire and acrobatic dodges. Her ultimate fills the scene with web-like laser strands and dual submachine guns. Those strands, and the sharply punctuated animation frames around her attack, are recurring subjects in the comments.
As we reported here, Kafka previously appeared in a trap-setting character teaser. This time, she shares the showcase with Robin, and the announcement is explicit: both will debut as new Agents in Version 3.4. The footage carries an in-development notice, so these are previews of their combat animations rather than the finished release.
