The tallest trees and the biggest trees aren't quite the same destination. Your New Zealand Family's California RV trip brings that distinction into focus as Mum explains why they're seeking giant sequoias after seeing coastal redwoods.

Their Sequoia National Park vlog was the most watched of two new uploads, passing 107,000 views. Getting there is part of the outing: winding mountain roads, turnouts to let quicker vehicles pass, and stretches of fire-scarred woodland with new shrubbery and wildflowers. At a rocky overlook, Dad asks, "I'm sorry, what painting did we just like step into?"

Viewers bring some local perspective to the scenery. Several discuss the difference between redwoods and sequoias, while another points out that the distant view is California's Central Valley, not the ocean. Others recall growing up near Kings Canyon or watching the family's travels for years. For a channel that began exploring America online when international travel wasn't possible, these roadside stops give the original curiosity a very different scale.

The other new upload takes the family to Napa Valley for a castle wine tour. It drew roughly half the Sequoia video's total, though the channel's busiest daily viewing belongs to an older reaction, "New Zealand Couple SHOCKED at \"What if Every US Gun Owner Fought Europe...\"". A US geography reaction is also among the uploads gathering the most views each day.

Subscriber numbers held steady over the week, and daily viewing is currently around half its usual level. The California journey nevertheless supplied two distinct additions: mountain roads and enormous trunks, then wine country and castle walls.
