A usual day on Triggernometry brings in somewhere around a third of a million views, and this week ran just a touch above that. The difference came mostly from one video. "My Response to Rishi Sunak - Konstantin Kisin" went up on September 27 and has passed 380,000 views, far more than anything else from the week. It is still gathering views faster than any other video on the channel. The title makes it a reply from Kisin, one of the show's two hosts, to the former prime minister, and the channel sells it on that alone.
The guests came from two very different worlds. Professor Robert Winston, the fertility pioneer long familiar from BBC science programs, appears under a title that has him saying his own industry is lying, and that episode is still moving briskly four days on. Robert Tombs, the Cambridge historian behind "The English and Their History," took on a thousand years of Britain and France. A short called "Why France Wants Brexit To Fail" kept that thread going. The Friday "Off the Fence" episode took in an Englishness debate and Andy Burnham.
Most of the bigger political channels around Triggernometry ran below their usual pace, The Majority Report and Occupy Democrats among them. That leaves Kisin's reply as one of the few steady voices in a quieter group.
