A usual day brings Sam Seder's channel something like a million and a half views. The last few days have run at well under half of that. Even so, the newest upload is behaving as if nobody told it.
"Why Are These People So Obsessed With Hasan Piker???" passed 200,000 views in about a day, the busiest of fifteen videos this week. Piker, the Twitch streamer behind HasanAbi, is himself one of the bigger names in this corner of political commentary. "Hegseth Desperately Begs US Military To Vote GOP" follows close behind, and a day-old Dr. Oz clip, "Dr. Oz Can't Even Lie Right," is picking up speed.
The rest of the week mixed party politics and history. One video asks why Democratic leadership is working against Angie Nixon. Another is a live episode pairing Republican panic with a conversation with Benjamin Moser, the Pulitzer-winning biographer, on the Jewish history of anti-Zionism.
Most of the channel's neighbors were slow too, Zeteo and Breaking Points among them. The Sham Sharma Show held close to its usual pace, and HasanAbi, the subject of the week's top video, drew the biggest daily crowd in the group.
