Video taking off 18x its usual first day

The Daily Jagran asks 'Iran To Finally Give Up Now?' as rail sanctions join the oil squeeze

A roundup of the pressure on Tehran, from 9,000 more American troops to attacks in the southeast, took the lead on a day when four Middle East and NATO videos all ran far ahead of the channel's usual start.

Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 158,573 views a day, 18 times a normal first day on this channel (8,758).

Fourteen hours after it went up, "Iran To Finally Give Up Now? | US Cuts Oil + Rails, 9,000 Troops Move In | IRGC Under Attack" was close to 120,000 views. A new video on The Daily Jagran normally finishes its whole first day with fewer than 9,000.

The question in the title is the channel's own. The report is a tally of pressure on Tehran from several directions at once. Citing Reuters, the description sets out a deployment of roughly 9,000 more American troops to the region, more than 7,000 of them sailors and about 2,000 Marines, and says a third aircraft carrier could follow. Sanctions now reach Iran's rail and automotive sectors, the transport links Tehran has leaned on since oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz were restricted. Closer to home, the description notes fresh armed attacks on security forces in the restive southeast, and Iranian leaders preparing a stronger response if attacked while diplomatic channels stay open.

That southeastern front had a video of its own on October 2, about a roadside bombing near Zahedan. In that one, local reports count five dead while the IRGC confirms one. It also started fast, as did a report on Saudi strikes against the Houthis and a NATO episode of Decoded. That makes this a change from the last few days. As we reported here, Nikita Kapoor's Decoded led the channel's Iran coverage three days running. This time her diesel-and-NATO episode came in third, behind a straight news roundup.

The channel added about 5,000 subscribers over the past week, and its daily views are running well above their usual level.
