Iran Military At War With Own Citizens? IRGC Deploys Tanks And Drones On Iranian Streets | Decoded
Decoded did it again. A day after Nikita Kapoor's episode on Tehran's fuel question opened at thirty times The Daily Jagran's usual pace, as we reported here, the next one is moving almost as fast. "Iran Military At War With Own Citizens? IRGC Deploys Tanks And Drones On Iranian Streets | Decoded" passed 158,000 views in its first fourteen hours. A new upload here usually gathers about 9,000 in a full day.
This episode is not about Tehran or the Strait of Hormuz. It goes to Sistan and Baluchestan, the far southeastern province that borders Pakistan and Afghanistan. The description says Iran has sent tanks, RPGs and surveillance drones into the city of Iranshahr. Kapoor walks through firefights in Gharibabad and attacks in Saravan. She traces the grievances of the province's Sunni Baluch population back to the 2022 events in Zahedan known as Bloody Friday. Her episode's argument is that Tehran is losing its grip on that frontier.
The Iran coverage around it moved at a different pace. A live feed on the FlyDubai flight incident, posted the next day, is near 18,000 views. A live stream of an IRGC volunteer rally in Tehran has a few thousand. Across the channel, daily views are running well above normal, and this one explainer carries a large share of that.
Under the video, the conversation is mostly about the Revolutionary Guard itself. Several commenters ask what the United Nations will say. Others ask how soldiers can be sent against cities their own families may come from.
