Nathan takes SuperMega's brotherly comedy to Halloween Horror Nights

A VHS-style Universal Studios sketch tops six new uploads, alongside a horror-movie watch and Animal Crossing's Halloween special.

Nathan's No-Good Night of Horrors

Nathan insists he's only pretending to be scared for his older brother's benefit. His voiceover makes the case; the scare zones at Universal Studios Hollywood give him plenty to explain away.

"Nathan's No-Good Night of Horrors" is a staged, found-footage-style comedy vlog, not a straightforward park visit. Between the frights, the brothers retreat to the Harry Potter area, argue over ordering drinks and reach an unhelpful answer to a question about identification: "I have a library card," Nathan says. Later, the park's outdoor escalators become his favorite attraction, grandly renamed "The Exclamator."

The sketch has drawn roughly 94,000 views, the biggest audience among SuperMega's six new uploads. It's also the channel's busiest video right now. Viewers have picked up the mangled phrase about driving "under the instruments," while others turn the brothers' affection into part of the horror joke.

Matt Watson and Ryan Magee spread the spooky programming well beyond Nathan's outing. "This Handsome Hunk Horror Movie Will Ruin Your Day" comes with a description declaring that Ryan is never choosing the movie again. There was also a SpookyMega livestream, the sponsored "Ghost Agnostics | supermegashow - 135" podcast episode and a Halloween installment of their Animal Crossing Deluxe series, which uses a modded version of the GameCube original.

That Animal Crossing episode is their next-busiest upload, followed by the slightly older "The Horrors of Browsing The Internet," with its online quizzes, spells and Halloween flash games. Across the channel, the week brought about 826,000 views while subscribers held steady. Daily viewing is running above its usual level, though nearby podcast channels Toni and Ryan and Club 520 Podcast had substantially larger weeks. SuperMega's own strongest draw is Nathan, finding plenty of trouble between the haunted mazes.
